System control of compressors
"Built to last": this is how a compressor maker describes his products. And indeed, the compressors do not have to put up with pressure alone, but also with extreme field conditions and working loads in industrial applications.

Reliability is key. And this is why the company opted for the AC500 programmable controller. It controls all major parameters of the compressors: oil pressure, temperature and operating hours, and in case of a power failure, all data are stored automatically. The AC500 PLC controls also the system data according to a selected choice of parameters and collects the values measured.
The system is operated through a CP400 control panel. The ABB control panel scores high with its perfect overview and easy handling. The system status and possible alarm messages can be recognized at a glance, to enable the operator of the plant to interfere immediately if necessary.
