Hans-Georg Krabbe is married with two children. He studied at Bonn University, graduating in economics. Until 2000, he worked in a number of managerial positions in marketing and sales for a leading international corporation in the field of industrial and building automation. On August 1, 2000, Mr. Krabbe joined the Board of Directors of Busch-Jaeger Elektro GmbH in Lüdenscheid, a 100% subsidiary of ABB. He has been Director for Marketing, Sales and Development since January 1, 2001 and Chairman of the Board of Directors since January 1, 2007. In addition, he was appointed BU Manager Wiring Accessories in May 2003. In this function, he is responsible for the worldwide activities of ABB AG in the area of installation switches and systems. On January 1, 2007, Mr. Krabbe also took over the position of Regional Division Manager Central Europe for the Automation Products Division. Mr. Krabbe has been appointed to the Executive Board of ABB Germany with effect from January 1, 2008. Within this function, Mr. Krabbe will be assuming responsibility for the automation business.
