ABB broadens asset management services offering with two senior level appointments

Norwalk, Connecticut, June 4, 2002 -- ABB Inc. today announced the appointments of Bradley Kramer and R. Todd Jarvis to the company's Industries division asset management services business in the United States.

Brad's and Todd's deep industry knowledge and global experience will greatly add to our ability to provide asset management services to the extremely important North American market."

Bradley Kramer brings to ABB a successful background in business development and financial management. He most recently held a position as managing director of Honeywell's ManageAbility Business. Prior to that he held various positions at Chase Bank and Shearson/Lehman in New York. Mr. Kramer holds a bachelors degree in finance from Arizona State University. In his new role at ABB, he will be reporting to Donald P. Aiken, president of ABB Inc. and of the Industry division in the U.S.

R. Todd Jarvis brings to ABB a successful background sales and business development. He most recently held a position as global sales director of Honeywell's ManageAbility Business. Prior to that Jarvis held various sales and consulting management positions while at Honeywell. He holds a bachelors degree in business from Texas A&M University. Mr. Jarvis will be reporting to Bradley Kramer.

ABB Industries division serves the automotive, cement, chemical, distribution, electronics, food and beverage, life sciences, marine, metals, mining, paper, petroleum and printing industries with application-specific power and automation technology. The division has strong domain expertise to create Industrial IT-enabled products and services for its customers in these industries. About 23,500 employees work in the division.
