The SI-T relay is a high speed overcurrent device intended for use as fault detector for distance relays, as a direct trip unit, in a breaker failure scheme or any similar application requiring an accurate current level detector. It contains three overcurrent units, each of which may be independently set and each of which may be used for a phase or ground relaying function.
